What Is The Haggadah?

The Haggadah is the book that is used at the Passover table each year. It contains the order of the Passover seder, including traditions and stories, and is used by the participants to conduct the rituals of the meal. The Haggadah also recounts the story of the Exodus, when the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. It contains poetry and songs that have become a part of Jewish tradition as well.

The Personalized Haggadah is a complete, beautiful, direct, yet concise Passover Haggadah for your Passover Seder 2012.  (You can view the entire Haggadah online at www.PromiseHaggadah.com).

Passover Seder - How To Plan Your Seder!

On the first two nights of Passover (April 6 & 7, 2012), a Seder is conducted – a festive, yet solemn meal.  The Seder table is traditionally set formally with a Haggadah for each person.  The Passover Seder is a time for the re-enactment of the Exodus from Egypt, while praying for redemption.

The word Seder means, “order” in Hebrew.  The Passover Seder consists of steps that are outlined in Haggadahs and performed at different points during the Passover Seder meal.  A Passover Seder is celebrated because it is a commandment from God.  Each Seder food and act described in the Haggadah, symbolizes concepts and event in the Passover story.  Your Personalized Haggadah serves as a complete guide.

 The Seder Experience

At the Seder, each person considers himself or herself as if he or she physically experienced the Exodus from Egypt.  With ancestors in mind, Seder participants symbolically witness the “Ten Plagues” and cross the Red Sea.  The Exodus story is retold to each generation and children are encouraged to ask questions.  The Passover Seder is a meaningful and truly spiritual experience.  The Personalized Haggadah serves as a complete guide through the Seder.  You can order your personalized Haggadahs for just $11 by visiting www.PersonalizedHaggadahs.com.
